Imago
Redesign of Imago, house organ of the Bassoli Fotoincisioni company published from 1960 to 1971 in the form of a magazine-container: each issue corresponded to a folder that collected the most varied expressions of the cultural ferment and industrial innovations of those years (leaflets, posters, small books, train tickets, etc.). Maintaining its exploratory spirit, the new Imago aims to be a journey into creativity through the most striking projects of contemporary culture. To do so, the magazine explores different areas of design by treating them as part of a unicum that encompasses them all: from graphic design to photography, from illustration to video, from industrial design to art. Each issue of Imago is accompanied by a sixteen-page insert devoted to one of the great exponents of twentieth-century visual culture. In doing so, the magazine talks about contemporary topics but pays homage to history.
